报告摘要：In this talk, we present an epidemic model to study the influence of asymptomatic infections and quarantine in the spread of COVID-19. Considering the transmission characteristics of the coronavirus disease 2019, there are certain time delays in the transition from susceptible individuals to exposed individuals after contact with exposed, symptomatically infected, and asymptomatically infected individuals. A COVID-19 model with time delays and exposed infection is developed and then the global dynamics of this model is also investigated by an improved method. The numerical results reveal that strengthening quarantine measures is helpful to control the COVID-19 epidemic in India.

附：专家简介
刘茂省，男，北京建筑大学教授，博士生导师，中国数学会生物数学专业委员会常务委员，山西省数学会常务理事，中国工业与应用数学学会数学与生命科学专业委员会委员。毕业于复旦大学获理学博士学位，曾在匈牙利塞格德大学、美国亚利桑那州立大学访问。主持国家自然科学基金3项，参加国家自然科学基金5项，其中重点项目1项。曾主持山西省1331工程重点创新团队，主讲的《常微分方程》被评为山西省精品课程。曾获得山西省教学成果一等奖1项，山西省科技奖自然类一等奖1项，二等奖1项，山西省青年五四奖章等。
