报告题目: Low-Cost GNSS and Sensor Integration for Infrastructure and Environmental Monitoring
专家简介：Professor Craig Hancock is a Professor of Geospatial Engineering at Loughborough University, UK, within the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering (ABCE). He has over 20 years of experience in GNSS, engineering surveying, and geospatial monitoring, with a research portfolio of more than 100 publications and involvement in over 20 funded research projects. His research focuses on low-cost GNSS, GNSS error modelling and mitigation, sensor integration, infrastructure monitoring, and digital twins. He serves on the Board of Directors for Survey Review, is Associate Editor for Urban Lifelines, and chairs Working Group 6.4 of the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG).
报告摘要：This presentation will focus on the use of low-cost GNSS receivers and integrated sensors for infrastructure and environmental monitoring applications. The limitations and error characteristics of low-cost GNSS, including atmospheric effects, multipath, and hardware-related errors, will be discussed alongside practical strategies to improve positioning reliability. Recent research approaches, including data-driven and AI-based methods, will be introduced. Case studies in structural health monitoring, urban infrastructure, and environmental sensing will be presented to illustrate real-world performance, challenges, and opportunities.
