报告摘要:

In this talk, we present compelling evidence suggesting that an alien planet once flew by our solar system a few hundred million years ago.

First, we address a long-standing mystery concerning a group of asteroids known as the Jupiter Trojans. Mathematically, these asteroids occupy two symmetric relative equilibrium points in the Sun-Jupiter system, the Lagrangian points L4 and L5. However, there is a significant discrepancy in the number of observed asteroids: L4 has 60% more than L5. We theorize that this asymmetry was caused by the flyby of an alien planet. By computing the necessary parameters for such an event, we found that it could indeed account for the observed asymmetry.

Amazingly, these exact parameters also solve another mystery in our solar system: the Hildas. This group of a few thousand asteroids is locked in a 3-2 resonance with Jupiter. Strangely, none of the Hildas have small eccentricities, and none are located in the region where they are most expected to be found. The flyby of the alien planet explains these anomalies and perfectly matches our observations.

Additional evidence supporting this theory can be found in the Kirkwood gaps and a group of asteroids known as the Zhongguo.

夏志宏,国际知名数学家、天文学家,美国西北大学数学系潘克讲席教授,大湾区大学讲座教授。夏志宏教授主要研究兴趣为动力系统、太阳系动力学,人工智能算法。主要成就包括解决百年悬而未决的庞勒维猜想。曾获多项国际重大学术奖励,包括美国国家青年研究者奖、Sloan Research Fellowship、首届布拉门塞尔纯数学进步奖、Monroe Martin应用数学奖。2015年创建南方科技大学数学系并任系主任。2015年参与建立未来科学大奖,是大奖科学委员会创始成员;2022年起担任《知识分子》杂志总编辑之一。
