报告人简介：Dr.Won Sik Choiis currently an assistant professor in the Dept. of Environmental Atmospheric Sciences at Pukyong National Univ. in Busan, Korea. He graduated from Seoul National University with a M.S. in troposphere ozone chemistry and B.S. in Oceanography. He received his Ph.D in Atmospheric Chemistry and Micrometeorology from University of California, Davis, and worked as a postdoc at University of California, Los Angeles. His research interest includes urban ultrafine particles (less than 100 nm): emissions, number and size distributions, particle dynamics and human exposure, as well as their impacts on regional/global climate; atmospheric chemistry with respect to biogenic and anthropogenic VOCs oxidation processes and their impact on air quality and secondary organic aerosols; vehicular emissions and dispersion capacity in various urban configurations and built-environments; roles of meteorology in determining atmospheric pollutant levels in both regional (by meso-scale meteorology) and local scales (by atmospheric turbulence).
